    About the Retreat:

    We are not a traditional retreat center, rather each participant tailors the experience and accommodations to their needs and budget. Our unique program is ideally suited for the independent explorer who wants to maintain flexibility throughout their travels and not be tied to one setting.

    The treatments take place in the home of the medicine guide in the hills of Escazú, Costa Rica and include travel to and from the sessions. Accommodations are not included so are entirely flexible.

    Our host engages with participants prior to their trip to insure proper planning, and is committed to making your experience in Costa Rica safe, comfortable and transformative. Additional amenities are available and can be discussed with him prior to and during your retreat.

    Our focus is to provide a connection with each participant 2-3 weeks prior to arrival and fully prepare for the medicines. Our seasoned psychedelic psychotherapist will guide entrants through a comprehensive intake and preparatory process and accompany them through the experience utilizing eclectic psycho therapeutic modalities through virtual meetings.

    Upon your return home we continue assimilating insights with ongoing session allowing for an ideal combination of experience and personal integration.

    Description of Services:
    • Three Pre-Intensive Integration Sessions
    • Three to Five  Plant/ Psychedelic Medicine Sessions (1 or 2x Kambo, 1x Changa (DMT), 1x Bufo Alvarius (5-MEO-DMT), Optional: Psilocybin Magic Mushrooms
    • Three Integrative psychotherapy sessions during the retreat (taking place within 24 hours of treatment)
    • Three Post-Retreat integration therapy sessions

    Overview of Experience:

    ​Expand's treatment intensive is a potent and immersive 5 day experience that provides all the psychoactive benefits of the medicines in a concentrated period of time. Sessions take place over a period of several days, gradually deepening the process and allowing for their effects to be processed and assimilated into self.

    Our program combines the nurturing value of psychotherapy with the transformative power of plant-based and psychedelic treatment options. It is ideally suited to the person ready to take their healing journey to a new level.

    Intake Process:

    Participants are vetted by going through a psychological intake session conducted by our Founder and Psychotherapist. Our program is specifically designed for the individual or small group (3 max) who has already embarked on healing work and desires more personalized attention throughout the process.
